Deb offers a wide variety of classes to suit all levels and abilities of her students. Her classes encourage students to practice safely and within their capacity.

Strengthen and Maintain

This 1-hour class will improve posture, movement and deep core strength.
Start your week with a clear mind and focused attention.
This class establishes you in your body; using vinyasa sequencing with appropriate counter poses. It aims to give you a stable, strong foundation. Movement and breath are brought together, enhancing each other and linking the mind.
Prioritise your own wellbeing and begin your week on solid ground.

 

Therapeutic Yoga

Suitable for all stages of life and for those recovering from or managing injury or illness.
Chairs are incorporated for students who find getting up and down from the floor challenging.
This class has a beneficial and restorative effect on the whole system. Adaptions, such as chairs and individual support are offered where appropriate. This class is for all stages of life; for those recovering from, or managing, injury, illness or stress-related anxiety.
Suitable for those who enjoy a gentle, nourishing, reflective, start to their week.

 

Meditative Yoga

Unwind from your day and enjoy the opportunity to strengthen and stretch your body, calm your mind and experience the gift of breath.
This class works holistically to reduce the accumulation of physical, mental and emotional stress and promote wellbeing.

Body, Breath and Mind

This holistic class encourages our breath to lead our practice and provides a stable foundation from which to build strength and flexibility.
Dynamic and flowing movements bring together body, breath and mind, this linking continues in static poses where we stay for longer periods. The combination of conscious breathing and intelligent action, energises the whole system. Relaxation (savasana) restores and conscious breathing (pranayama) prepares the mind for meditation and reflection.

Gentle Yoga and Meditation

Where: Williamstown Community and Education Centre. 14 Thompson Street, Williamstown
An open class that guides and encourages students to practise at their own pace.
For men and women who wish to maintain strength and flexibility appropriate to their stage of life.
Come join our lovely group of men and women of all ages and stages. A wonderful way of finishing the ‘working’ week; relaxed and positive, calm and centred ready for the weekend.
The classes run for 9 or 10 week school terms.
