‘Chanting uplifts and supports me, it buoys me. No matter what may be going on inside or outside myself

As soon as I begin chanting  my internal distractions drop away and my mind concentres on making the right sounds, whether in my role as teacher, or student, or doing my practice. Even this drops away when I settle, its as though these ancient sounds move through me.
